Job Objectives:

Responsibilities

• Treat customers professionally and keep information confidential, following company procedures and timelines.
• Process prescriptions and handle any claiming or capturing tasks.
• Manage all patient profiles accurately and completely.
• Work with healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Solve problems and follow up on queries.

Duties

• Communicate with customers by phone or other methods about medications and healthcare services.
• Enter prescriptions accurately at the central pharmacy.
• Handle questions about prescriptions.
• Manage patient profiles.
• Help with chronic medication authorizations.
• Coordinate with other departments.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Knowledge Required:

• Knowledge of products, including over-the-counter items.
• Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant laws.
• Familiarity with chronic authorization processes.
• Customer service focus.
• Ethical practices and compliance.
