Role Overview
Medirite Eerste Rivier seeks a qualified Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant to support pharmacy operations through dispensing duties and administrative tasks under pharmacist supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate medication dispensing under pharmacist guidance
- Inventory management and stock control
- Maintaining pharmacy documentation & compliance records
- Ensuring clean and organized workspace standards
- Providing professional customer service in front-shop operations
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification
- Current registration with SA Pharmacy Council
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail pharmacy environment
Key Skills:
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficiency in pharmacy software systems
- Knowledge of medication dispensing protocols
- Familiarity with retail/FMCG operations (advantageous)
