Requirements
- Valid registration with South African Pharmacy Council as Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant
- Current SAPC registration certificate
- Understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and supply chain management
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Knowledge of medication dispensing best practices
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
- Prepare and distribute pharmaceutical stock to patients and departments
- Maintain accurate medication records and inventory control
- Provide basic medication guidance to patients and staff
- Process prescriptions and verify compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare teams on pharmaceutical needs
