Position Overview

The South African Department of Defence seeks a qualified Personal Assistant to provide executive support to senior management. This full-time role requires occasional domestic and international travel.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12/NQF Level 4 certificate
  • Secretarial diploma/equivalent qualification
  • 3-5 years administrative experience supporting senior executives
  • Proven experience in agenda preparation and minute-taking for strategic meetings

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership
  • Analyze regulatory documents and provide implementation recommendations
  • Coordinate procurement processes and logistical arrangements
  • Manage travel coordination and accommodation bookings
  • Maintain documentation control for agendas, minutes, and decision registers
