Personal Assistant/HR Administrator

Role Purpose:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to school leadership while managing HR processes and office operations.

Core Responsibilities:

Executive Support:

  • Manage Principal’s schedule and confidential meetings
  • Coordinate communications between leadership and parents
  • Handle sensitive documentation and record-keeping

Event Management:

  • Plan and execute school functions from conception to completion
  • Manage vendor relationships and budget compliance
  • Coordinate logistics for school trips and photography sessions

Office Administration:

  • Supervise reception operations and staff attendance tracking
  • Manage stationery and office supplies inventory
  • Maintain uniform shop operations (where applicable)

HR Functions:

  • Support recruitment processes and new staff onboarding
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
  • Assist with performance review coordination

Candidate Profile:

Essential Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Personal Attributes:

  • Discreet and professional demeanor
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Detail-oriented approach to tasks

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
  • 5+ years experience in administrative/PA roles
  • Experience in HR administration preferred
