Role Overview

We seek a skilled Personal Assistant to provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to a Chief Director. This role is critical in ensuring efficient operations within the Economic Enablement division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative tasks including document preparation and record-keeping
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, and minute-taking
  • Provide receptionist support and manage correspondence
  • Assist with budget monitoring and financial administration
  • Maintain compliance with relevant policies and regulations

Essential Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate (or equivalent)
  • Relevant NQF Level 5 qualification in Administration/Secretarial Studies
  • 3+ years of experience supporting senior management
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in data management and cross-departmental reporting
  • Knowledge of public service policies and financial systems
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
