Job Overview
This apprenticeship combines on‑the‑job training with classroom instruction. Apprentices will learn both practical and theoretical aspects of the trade and will complete a trade test at an accredited Trade Centre.
Responsibilities
- Complete learner readiness (pre‑learning) assessments as required.
- Participate in the RPL assessment process.
- Attend all training classes according to the schedule.
- Submit assignments within the agreed time frames.
- Complete the full programme, including classroom training, assignments, and practical application.
- Ensure no missed sessions or neglected responsibilities unless for a serious reason.
- Co‑sign a letter of commitment to the training with the line manager.
- Communicate any learning concerns promptly to the course facilitator and HR.
- Sign the Learning Programme contract.
Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 Certificate.
- N3 in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering studies.
