Payroll Administrator – Hatfield, Pretoria

ARC strives for excellence in agricultural research and development. We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our Central Office team in Hatfield, Pretoria.

Position Details:
• Employment Type: Full Time
• Required Qualification: National Certificate in Payroll Administration
• Experience Needed: Minimum 2 years payroll experience
• Location: Hatfield, Pretoria
• Department: Human Resources

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate payroll records in compliance with tax and labor regulations
  • Process employee payments including overtime, allowances, and deductions
  • Manage monthly PAYE reconciliations and EMP201 submissions
  • Oversee medical aid and pension fund administration
  • Generate payroll reports and reconcile accounts
  • Handle electronic filing with SARS and Department of Labour
  • Collaborate with HR on employee compensation matters

Essential Requirements:

  • Proficiency in SAGE 300 People payroll system
  • Strong understanding of BCEA, Income Tax Act, and pension regulations
  • Advanced Excel skills and financial reporting experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in fast-paced environment
