Qualifications and experience required:
- Grade 12 or a relevant post-Matric qualification, preferably NTC3 in Water Treatment or Wastewater Treatment.
- Trade-related qualification: Operator’s Certificate/Wastewater Treatment Practice (N3).
- A valid Code EB driver’s licence.
- One to two years’ experience.

Ethics and professionalism:
- You must be physically fit to perform the job duties. Shortlisted candidates will need a medical exam from the Municipal Medical Doctor.

- Shift work is required.
Job purpose:
- Purify wastewater and treated effluent by following operating procedures. Control plant and machinery performance. Conduct tests and fix any issues. Remove and dispose of debris to meet standards and keep operations running smoothly.
