Job Summary

Operate processing equipment such as pasteurisers, homogenisers, separators, and other plant machinery in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure high yield, throughput, and quality while maintaining accurate production records.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and control plant processes.
• Maintain production records: volume, yield, downtime, and utility consumption.
• Assist in efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
• Participate in plant cleanliness and safety programs.
• Ensure quality assurance by sampling, testing, and recording process streams.
• Communicate with the laboratory to support QA policies.
• Assist with plant maintenance: report problems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues.

Work Conditions

• Work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Work in extreme conditions.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF 4).
• Relevant experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques, and processes.
• Fluent in Business English.
• Basic computer literacy.
