Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- R425 Nursing Diploma/Degree registered with SANC
- Post-basic qualification in Advanced Midwifery (1-year program)
- Management Diploma/Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 9 years nursing experience (post-SANC registration)
- 6 years experience in Advanced Midwifery specialty
- 3 years experience in managerial role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational management of Advanced Midwifery units
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and nursing legislation
- Manage resources and staff performance
- Implement quality improvement initiatives
- Oversee staff training and development programs
- Coordinate health promotion activities
