Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee mechanical maintenance at wastewater treatment plants
  • Implement safety standards (OHSA/SANS compliance)
  • Manage equipment classification and maintenance programs
  • Coordinate contractor work and quality control
  • Optimize systems through operational improvements
  • Manage team development and safety protocols
  • Monitor maintenance budgets and equipment costs

Requirements

  • N6 Certificate + Mechanical Trade Test
  • 5 years experience (2+ in supervisory role)
  • Valid EB driver’s license
  • Knowledge of occupational health/safety standards
