Position Overview:

Provide intermediate emergency medical care and respond to emergency calls according to established protocols and scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

– Maintain readiness for emergency response operations
– Deliver patient care within approved clinical guidelines
– Represent ER24’s professional standards in public interactions

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:
– Certified Ambulance Emergency Assistant
– OR Higher Certificate in Emergency Medical Care

Preferred Qualifications:
– Current training in HPCSA Clinical Practice Guidelines
(Non-compliant candidates must complete training during probation)

Experience:
– 1 year EMS experience (required)
– 1 year ILS experience (preferred)

Required Skills:

– Emergency medical best practices
– English proficiency (verbal/written)
– Geographical knowledge of operational areas
– Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
– Patient documentation management
