Provide intermediate emergency medical care within authorized scope of practice during emergency responses.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain readiness to respond promptly to emergency calls
- Deliver appropriate patient care following protocols
- Complete accurate patient documentation
- Uphold professional standards and company reputation
Requirements
Essential Education:
Ambulance Emergency Assistant Certificate/Higher Certificate in Emergency Medical Care
Preferred Training:
Current HPCSA Clinical Practice Guidelines compliance (training provided during probation if needed)
Experience:
1 year EMS experience (ILS experience preferred)
Required Competencies
- Emergency medical best practices
- HPCSA regulations understanding
- Strong English communication skills
- Local geographical knowledge
- Basic computer proficiency
