Role Purpose:

Support surgical teams by serving as a scrub practitioner, circulator, and anaesthetic assistant while maintaining high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe patient care alongside multidisciplinary teams
• Prepare operating theaters for surgical procedures
• Maintain strict infection control protocols
• Manage surgical equipment and pharmaceutical stock effectively
• Assist in postoperative recovery under supervision

Requirements:

Essential Qualification:
National Diploma in Operating Department Assistance

Preferred Skills:

• Theater operations knowledge
• Aseptic technique proficiency
• Infection control expertise
• Basic computer literacy
• Inventory management skills

Experience:

No prior experience required – training provided
