Required Qualifications
- Senior Certificate (Matric/Grade 12)
- NQF Level 6 qualification in:
– Mechanical Engineering
– Electrical Engineering
– Environmental Health
– Chemical/Civil Engineering - Valid driver’s license
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct workplace inspections to enforce Occupational Health and Safety Act compliance
- Investigate incidents/accidents and provide court testimony when required
- Verify compliance with Unemployment Insurance and Compensation Acts
- Develop regional inspection plans and produce statistical reports
- Lead public education campaigns on labor regulations
