Position Overview

Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
Experience Required: 2+ Years
Preferred Qualifications:
National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 6/7) in:
– Environmental Health
– Electrical/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
– Biological Sciences (Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology)
– Construction Safety
Essential Requirement: Valid Driver’s License

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in regulatory inspections or compliance enforcement
• Technical knowledge of OHS Act 85 of 1993 and related regulations
• Ability to conduct workplace safety assessments
• Strong investigative and reporting skills

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational health and safety inspections
• Enforce compliance with national safety regulations
• Investigate workplace incidents and violations
• Develop improvement plans for safety standards
• Maintain detailed inspection records and reports
