Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate
• 4-year BA Degree in Social Work
• 3 years’ integrated Social Work experience
• Valid SACSSP registration
• South African driver’s license
• Project management skills
• Strong ethical professional conduct

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive social services to individuals, families and communities
• Conduct community needs assessments and program planning
• Manage crisis interventions per legislative requirements
• Facilitate support groups and therapeutic sessions
• Implement municipal policies and development programs
• Supervise social work students and auxiliary staff
• Maintain confidential case records and reports
