About the Road Accident Fund
We are a statutory body providing mandatory insurance cover for all South African road users. Our focus is on personal injury claims from motor vehicle accidents, excluding property damage liabilities.
Position Overview
Ensure compliance with firearm regulations and manage administrative processes in alignment with the Firearms Control Act. Report to the Security Vetting & Compliance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct firearm compliance audits and safe inspections
- Manage firearm/ammunition inventory and equipment requirements
- Coordinate firearm training programs for security personnel
- Maintain firearm registers and permits documentation
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols
- Prepare compliance reports and corrective action plans
Requirements
- National Diploma in Security Management/Policing
- Valid PSIRA Grade Certification
- Firearm Competency Certificate (Business purposes)
- 3 years firearm administration experience
- Proficiency in Electronic Firearm Management Systems
