Officer AFS Vacancy – Moretele Local Municipality

Salary Range: R444,139.92 – R471,918.00 per annum (Excluding benefits)

Requirements

  • NQF Level 6 qualification in Accounting/Finance (Level 7 preferred)
  • 5+ years financial reporting experience (municipal/public sector preferred)
  • Expertise in GRAP accounting standards and mSCOA systems
  • Proficiency in CaseWare, MS Excel, and financial software
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license required

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements and regulatory reports
  • Lead external audit processes and compliance
  • Conduct budget-vs-actual analyses and reconciliations
  • Ensure MFMA compliance and statutory reporting
  • Maintain financial systems and processes
  • Provide strategic financial insights to management
