The Department of Water and Sanitation serves as the guardian of South Africa’s water resources, working to provide clean water access and proper sanitation while ensuring sustainable water management.

Required Qualification: NQF Level 6 Certificate/Diploma

Experience Required: 5+ years in office administration/management

Location: Gauteng Province

Department: Administrative Services

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Understanding of public service regulations and financial management principles
  • Proficiency in administrative processes and document management
  • Computer literacy and digital workflow management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage information flow and administrative operations for Deputy Director-General’s office
  • Coordinate procurement, asset management, and reporting processes
  • Ensure compliance with policies and quality standards for all documentation
  • Organize meetings, workshops, and official events
  • Handle parliamentary queries and correspondence
  • Assist with budget planning and human resource coordination
