Position: Occupational Therapist Grade 1

Location: Mapulaneng Hospital, Mpumalanga

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12/Senior Certificate
• Relevant qualification registrable with HPCSA
• Current HPCSA registration as Occupational Therapist (2025)
• Grade 1: No post-registration experience required (South African candidates)
• Foreign-qualified candidates: 1 year post-registration experience
• Clinical experience in adult/paediatric care preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement evidence-based therapy programs
• Conduct functional capacity evaluations (FCEs)
• Maintain accurate patient records and statistics
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor junior staff and students
• Engage in community awareness campaigns
