Occupational Health and Safety Officer
Position Details:

Experience Required: 2-3 years
Education Level: NQF Level 6 Qualification in Safety Management/Environmental Health
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Occupational Health & Safety field
- Thorough understanding of:
- Occupational Health & Safety Act (85 of 1993)
- Disaster Management Act
- Compensation for Occupational Diseases & Injuries Act (1993)
- Public Service regulations and PFMA guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update OHS policies/programs aligned with legislation
- Conduct workplace risk assessments and hazard analyses
- Monitor compliance with health/safety regulations
- Maintain incident reporting systems and investigate accidents
