Position: Senior Technician

Experience: 5-8 years
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- ECSA registration as Professional Engineering Technician
- 5-8 years’ post-qualification experience in electricity distribution
- Valid Code B driver’s license
- Proficiency in power system analysis software
Core Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network upgrades for power supply systems
- Manage residential/commercial electrification projects
- Coordinate public lighting infrastructure development
- Conduct power system analysis studies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Liaise with stakeholders on development applications
Work Conditions:
- Field work in varying weather conditions
- Flexible working hours as operational needs require
- Transport allowance for business-related travel
