Job Description

Managed People Solutions offers internship opportunities to young, unemployed, and ambitious TVET students seeking workplace experience. Interns will work in a retail store, handling basic merchandiser duties for 12 months. This opportunity is open only to individuals who have completed their NCV L4 Certificate and live in Johannesburg Central.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine stock to be merchandised.
  • Draw up stock requirements.
  • Check vintage, product quality on the shelf, stock rotation, and price tags.
  • Execute merchandising activities as per cycle brief.
  • Provide feedback on customer complaints, queries, and requests.
  • Communicate and stay updated on product knowledge and promotions.
  • Record merchandising activities effectively.
  • Execute calls as per call cycle.
  • Advise the Regional Sales Manager on out-of-stock products.

Requirements:

  • Must be under 28 years old.

NCV L2 – L4 Certificate in one of the following fields:

  • Management
  • Finance
  • Office Administration
  • IT

Stipend: R3 500

Duration: 12 Months
