Position Details

• Employment Type: Contract Position
• Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 7)
  • Majors: Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Internal Audit/Risk Management qualifications advantageous
• Location: Western Cape (Knysna Municipal Area)

Program Outline

Successful candidates will gain experience in:

• National Treasury Finance Intern Development Program requirements
• Cross-functional training across Finance, Audit, and Risk departments
• Implementation of Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA)
• GRAP Standards, Corporate Policy Administration, and Fiscal Procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Must have completed matric in Knysna municipal area
• Proficiency in written/spoken English
• Computer literacy (MS Office suite)
• Strong interest in public sector financial management
