Job Description

Motus Toyota Cape Gate is looking for a reliable and customer‑focused Driver – Light Duty. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting parts and supplies to suppliers, other branches, customers and any other required destinations. The role also involves maintaining vehicle safety and condition, and providing support to the team as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to suppliers, branches, customers and other destinations.
• Check vehicles for defects, damages and overall road‑worthiness before and after each trip.
• Report any accidents, traffic offences or vehicle issues to the supervisor.
• Collect parts from other branches, customers and suppliers.
• Ensure parts are protected during transit and arrive in good condition.
• Assist customers during deliveries.
• Inspect delivery vehicles for damage, missing parts, spare wheel and spanners; report findings.
• Secure vehicles and store keys in the designated key box or reception.
• Work overtime when required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Valid driver’s licence with PDP.
• Clear criminal record.
• Customer‑oriented and team‑player attitude.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
