Position Summary

Experience: 6+ years (2 years managerial)
Qualifications: Mine Overseer Certificate, Blasting Certificate, Mining Degree/Diploma (advantageous)
Core Responsibilities
- Support mining operations compliance with Mine Health & Safety regulations
- Manage team performance and development initiatives
- Assist in strategic planning for mine operations (1-5 year horizons)
- Oversee maintenance planning and operational budgets
- Implement continuous improvement through Operational Excellence
Key Requirements
Mandatory Certifications:
– Government Certificate of Competency
– Minerals Act Regulation 14.1 Appointment
– Valid Blasting Certificate (4+ years holding)
Preferred Skills:
– Mine Managers Certificate
– Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering
