SALARY: R162 680 per annum

REQUIREMENTS:

  • NQF Level 2 or a relevant qualification.
  • Knowledge of administrative work, public service, and departmental procedures.
  • Good organizing and planning skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Driving skills.
  • Ability to work alone or in a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Sense of responsibility and loyalty.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • A valid driver’s license and experience driving a motor vehicle.

DUTIES:

  • Drive light and medium-sized vehicles to transport passengers and deliver items like mail, documents, and office equipment.
  • Collect, distribute, and track the movement of documents.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the vehicle and report any defects quickly.
  • Check the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is in good condition.
  • Keep all required records and logbooks for the vehicle and items handled up to date, including trip sheets and daily mileage.
  • Collect and deliver documents and items within the department or to external parties.
  • Ensure secure control over the movement of documents.
