Position Overview

Provide technical support in mechanical engineering operations for health infrastructure projects, including design, maintenance, and quality control.

Requirements:

  • ✅ National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3-year program)
  • ✅ ECSA registration as Engineering Technician (mandatory)
  • ✅ Valid Code B driver’s license
  • ✅ 3+ years post-qualification engineering experience

Core Responsibilities:

  • • Assist engineers with technical designs and specifications
  • • Conduct safety evaluations and compliance checks
  • • Update technical documentation and operational procedures
  • • Manage project databases and reporting systems
  • • Supervise technical personnel and equipment

Technical Competencies:

  • • AutoCAD proficiency
  • • Engineering project management
  • • Technical reporting and analysis
  • • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Remuneration:

R391,671 – R586,665/year (OSD scale based on experience)
