Position Details

Employment Type: Full Time

Education Requirement: Matric Certificate

Location: Bellville, Western Cape

Department: Engineering/Technical

Key Responsibilities

• Support mechanics in complex maintenance and repair work
• Manage tool selection and availability for repair tasks
• Handle equipment components up to 20kg (using proper lifting gear when needed)
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and equipment organization
• Assist with parts procurement and verification
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards

Requirements

• Grade 12 certification essential
• Mechanical workshop experience advantageous
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days
• Ability to obtain crane operator certification within 90 days
• Valid Code B driver’s license preferred
