Mechanic Assistant – Kokstad

Job Type:

Requirements:

  • Matric certificate (Grade 12)
  • 2-3 years experience in FMCG workshop environment
  • Diesel Mechanic qualification (advantageous)
  • Experience with FAW, Fuso, Hino & Nissan trucks (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead mechanic with maintenance and repair tasks
  • Perform preventive maintenance per schedule
  • Respond to after-hours breakdowns
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety standards
  • Handle equipment and tools appropriately
  • Follow company safety protocols

Required Skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good time management
  • Team collaboration skills
