Mechanic Assistant Opportunity – Empangeni

Position Overview:

Type: Full-Time
Location: Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal
Experience: 2-3 years in FMCG workshop environment

Key Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate (Essential)
  • Diesel Mechanic qualification (Advantageous)
  • Experience with FAW, Fuso, Hino & Nissan trucks preferred
  • Valid driver’s license

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead mechanics with fleet maintenance & repairs
  • Maintenance planning & breakdown response
  • Workshop organization & safety compliance
  • Equipment handling & preventive maintenance
  • After-hours breakdown support
