Core Purpose
Lead maintenance operations and ensure equipment reliability to support production efficiency while maintaining safety standards and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee plant maintenance planning and execution
- Optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime
- Manage operational budgets and resource allocation
- Implement safety protocols and risk assessments
- Lead team development and performance management
- Ensure compliance with technical standards and regulations
- Coordinate cross-departmental maintenance activities
Essential Qualifications
- Grade 12/N3 with Mathematics, Science, and English
- Valid NQF 4 Trade Test Certificate (Electro-Mechanical)
- Flame-proofing and gas testing certification
- Computer literacy and maintenance system knowledge
- Underground mining experience (advantageous)
