The Opportunity

This internship is based in our Woodmead office and supports the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Division. The division delivers life‑saving diagnostic tests across Africa, focusing on diseases such as HIV, TB, and other infectious diseases.

As a Marketing Intern, you will support marketing activities across the African region. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing administrative support to marketing managers.
• Coordinating and managing projects.
• Learning about commercial strategies and objectives that help countries reach public health goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold a tertiary qualification in Marketing (undergraduate or postgraduate). No other qualifications will be considered.
• Ideal candidates have little to no work experience, as this is an internship.
• Applicants must not have completed a formal internship before.
