Position Summary

We seek a detail-oriented Market Research Assistant to support our marketing research team. This hybrid role involves coordinating research projects, analyzing data, and translating insights into actionable reports for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Research Coordination:
– Manage project logistics and vendor communications
– Maintain organized research archives
– Assist in survey design and implementation
– Prepare benchmark research reports
– Support research promotion through insight preparation

Data Analysis:
– Clean and structure raw datasets
– Perform basic statistical analysis
– Create visual reports and presentations
– Collaborate on data visualization improvements

Core Requirements

– Proficiency in survey tools (SurveyMonkey/Qualtrics)
– Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
– Strong PowerPoint/Google Slides capability
– Understanding of research methodologies
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work 1-2 days weekly in Cape Town office

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience with project management tools (Asana/Jira)
– Basic data visualization skills
– Market research certifications
– Strong quantitative reasoning
