Nongoma Local Municipality is located in the center of northern KwaZulu-Natal. It is one of the five local municipalities in the Zululand District Municipality and includes three traditional authorities: Mandlakazi, Usuthu, and Matheni. It is the only place in the world with six Royal Palaces.

Requirements
- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration or a relevant field; an Honours Degree is an advantage
- Computer literacy
- Code EB driver’s license
- 5-7 years of administration experience, including at least 2 years at a supervisory level

Responsibilities
- Align with the overall corporate administrative strategy and address key needs to support the Corporate Services department’s goals.
- Oversee the main corporate areas of Council Support and Records Management.
- Guide and monitor the use, productivity, and performance of staff in the section.
- Develop, review, and put into action functional policies.
- Handle the administration and document management for council meetings, executive sessions, and other committee meetings.
- Manage processes for vacancies and appointments on Council.
- Implement an organization-wide system for managing various records.
