Job Title: Manager Supply Chain Management (Level 2) (Re-Advert)

Requirements:

  • A relevant Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, Financial Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Significant experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 to 10 years, including several years in a supervisory or management role. Experience in the public sector is preferred.

Core Competencies:

  • Knowledge of the public sector, including the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Supply Chain Management (SCM) Regulations, and Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA).
  • Strong financial management, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage projects, and work with senior stakeholders.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to interact with committees, staff, and suppliers.
