Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (NQF Level 7)
- Valid registration with South African Council for Social Service Professions
- 10 years’ post-qualification experience including 5 years in Social Work Policy Development
- Valid driver’s license (exemption applies for persons with disabilities)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement substance abuse prevention policies
- Establish and oversee anti-substance abuse centers
- Coordinate provincial Substance Abuse Forum activities
- Design community substance abuse prevention programs
- Lead capacity-building initiatives for field officers and volunteers
- Manage financial and administrative operations
