Professional Registration: ECSA PrTechEng/PrEng (or eligibility)

Salary Range: R708,591 – R919,793 basic + benefits (T16 Total Package: ±R1.39M)

Essential Qualifications

  • Valid Code B driver’s license
  • Proficiency in two Western Cape official languages
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite, GIS)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of municipal infrastructure management

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee infrastructure planning and project lifecycle management
  • Manage Municipal Infrastructure Grant (MIG) allocations
  • Lead contract administration and compliance monitoring
  • Coordinate interdepartmental stakeholder engagements
  • Direct budget development and fiscal oversight
  • Ensure OHSACT compliance and risk mitigation
  • Supervise technical team operations
