SAMRO administers music performing rights on behalf of members by licensing music users (TV/radio stations, venues, retailers, etc.) and distributing collected royalties.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integrated marketing/communications strategies
- Manage brand positioning through PR, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement
- Oversee digital marketing, content creation, and social media management
- Lead team performance and manage departmental budgets
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and governance standards
- Collaborate with internal teams on awareness initiatives
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Experience:
- 3+ years management experience in marketing/communications
- Proven success in strategic branding and media relations
- Digital marketing expertise including podcast management
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft PowerPoint
Skills:
- Excellent written/verbal communication
- Strong project management capabilities
- Budget management experience
