Core Responsibilities
Regulatory Operations Management
- Lead municipal area inspections and public interest assessments
- Develop data-driven operational strategies for licensed/unlicensed premises
- Oversee 300+ annual liquor license compliance inspections
Compliance & Enforcement
- Manage special event monitoring and temporary license compliance
- Direct intelligence-led investigations into liquor operations
- Coordinate multi-agency enforcement operations
Team Leadership
- Manage 15+ inspection staff and operational resources
- Implement performance management and skills development
- Promote ethical governance and regulatory compliance culture
Essential Requirements
- National Diploma/Degree in relevant field (NQF 6/7)
- 5 years’ regulatory/operations experience (including 3 years management)
- Valid Code B driver’s license
- Proven project management capabilities
- Public sector experience (advantageous)
