Essential Qualifications
- National Diploma/Degree in relevant field
- Valid Code B driver’s license
- MFMA competency certification (or willingness to complete within 18 months)
- Proven experience in strategic planning and business plan development
Key Responsibilities
- Lead municipal strategic planning processes
- Oversee Integrated Development Plan (IDP) implementation
- Manage performance management systems and public engagement initiatives
- Coordinate intergovernmental planning alignment
- Ensure compliance with local government regulations
- Supervise budget management and resource allocation
- Facilitate stakeholder communication strategies
