Purpose of Role
Lead the planning and management of SABS’s ICT architecture, business intelligence, and knowledge management strategy to optimize technology resources organization-wide.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma + Advanced Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (NQF Level 7)
- ITIL Foundation Certification (required)
- TOGAF 9 Foundation Certification (required)
- UML 2 Certification (preferred)
Experience
- 10+ years in ICT Architecture/Business Intelligence
- 3+ years in management roles
- Proven success in BI solutions, data warehousing, and ETL processes
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop enterprise architecture frameworks aligned with organizational goals
- Manage vendor contracts for ICT architecture maintenance
- Drive governance through the Enterprise Design Authority Forum
Operational Management
- Monitor team performance against strategic objectives
- Ensure timely delivery of ICT Architecture services
- Analyze business metrics for informed decision-making
Compliance & Risk
- Implement fraud controls and regulatory compliance measures
- Manage quality assurance in line with industry standards
Team Development
- Lead talent acquisition and skills development initiatives
- Oversee performance management and succession planning
