Job Purpose

To develop tactical strategies and delivery plans for a single practice area. Lead and manage an audit team for Transfer Pricing to ensure effective audit operations across multiple tax types. Focus on practice integration and operational implementation to achieve audit objectives.

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualification and Experience Required

  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) and 8-10 years’ Transfer Pricing Audit experience in the industry, including 3-4 years at junior management level.

or

  • Senior Certificate (NQF 4) and 15 years’ Transfer Pricing audit experience in the industry, including 3-4 years at junior management level.

Minimum Functional Requirements

  • 8-10 years’ experience in Transfer Pricing audit, including 3-4 years at junior management level. Or Senior Certificate (NQF 4) and 15 years’ related experience.

Job Outputs

Process

  • Ensure compliance management by following technical standards and all relevant legal and SARS requirements.
  • Manage significant cases, reduce identified risks, and help develop tax and customs legislation when needed.
  • Oversee end-to-end audits, including finalizing objections and appeals.
  • Join auditors in interactions and engagements with taxpayers when required.
  • Communicate policy changes, progress on objectives, and key success factors to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Use business reports to measure success and adjust tactical strategy as needed.
  • Plan work outputs, coordinate activities, and set priorities, standards, and procedures for tactical implementation.
  • Suggest improvements to processes, systems, policies, and procedures, and implement organizational changes and innovations.
  • Identify interconnected problems, assess their impact, and develop practical solutions.
  • Provide regular reports on performance and use them to adjust tactical plans.
  • Drive tactical implementation to achieve business unit excellence and improve performance.
  • Direct, control, and optimize budgeted resources to meet objectives and deliver results.
  • Develop and implement practices aligned with operational policies and procedures.
  • Execute tactical strategies through operational activities to meet targets.
