• 8-10 years’ audit experience (3-4 years at junior management level)
• Proven leadership in tax compliance and operational auditing

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Manage end-to-end audit processes including objections and appeals
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for complex tax cases
• Optimize audit workflows and quality control systems

Team Management

• Lead audit teams in multi-tax type environments
• Implement staff development programs and performance metrics
• Foster collaborative team culture and knowledge sharing

Strategic Compliance

• Ensure adherence to national tax legislation and SARS protocols
• Analyze audit trends to inform policy recommendations
• Manage audit-related budgets and resource allocation
