About the Role
Join the Western Cape Government’s Provincial Treasury team to support the implementation and coordination of management accounting systems. We are committed to delivering transparent public services and fostering opportunities for our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with budget compilation, monitoring, and expenditure control.
- Analyze and quality-check financial reports.
- Advise on compliance with Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury regulations, and other legislation.
Requirements
- 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in management accounting.
- Knowledge of public sector financial policies (PFMA, DORA, Treasury regulations).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in public sector finance.
- Proficiency in budget administration and reporting.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Remuneration
R397,116 – R467,790 per annum (Salary Level 8)
