Position Overview:

We seek a skilled Maintenance Inspector to ensure optimal functioning of our sewer infrastructure through proactive maintenance and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of sewer systems including pipelines, valves, and drainage structures
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance
• Operate specialized equipment including pressure gauges and detection systems
• Install and monitor flow measurement devices
• Investigate public complaints regarding sewer services
• Provide technical guidance to field teams and contractors
• Assist in developing maintenance procedures and protocols

Essential Requirements:

• Valid trade certification (Plumbing or Bricklaying)
• 3 years’ practical experience in infrastructure maintenance
• Valid South African driver’s license

Preferred Qualification:

• Additional experience in municipal infrastructure management
