Maintenance Assistant – VKB Milling, Modderrivier

Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Education Requirement: Matric/NQF Level 4
- Experience Needed: 1-3 years in maintenance support
- Location: Modderrivier, Northern Cape
- Department: Engineering & Technical
Key Responsibilities:
- Support maintenance teams with plumbing, painting, welding, and plastering tasks
- Assist in reducing equipment downtime through preventive maintenance support
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete job documentation
- Ensure compliance with occupational health/safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain operational efficiency
Candidate Requirements:
- Proficiency in English (Afrikaans advantageous)
- Physical capability to work at heights
- Validated track record of punctuality and overtime availability
- Clear criminal record
- Basic technical aptitude across multiple trade disciplines
