Position Details

• Employment Type: Full Time
• Minimum Education: Matric/Grade 12
• Experience Level: 1-2 years in technical/maintenance roles
• Location: Western Cape
• Department: Engineering & Technical

Core Responsibilities

• Support technical teams in equipment maintenance and repairs
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including component cleaning, lubrication, and parts replacement
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns with appropriate tools and materials
• Monitor machinery performance and report operational issues
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential risks
• Maintain workshop organization and tool inventory
• Document all maintenance activities accurately
• Assist with equipment installation and decommissioning
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements

Candidate Requirements

• Matric certificate (essential)
• Technical certification/N2 in mechanical/electrical fields (preferred)
• 1-2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance environments
• Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems
• Physical capability for manual tasks
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities

Work Environment

• Shift work and overtime requirements
• Exposure to industrial noise and machinery operations
• Strict compliance with health and safety regulations
